kungliga slottet

kungliga slottet

It means The Royal Palace, HAHA yup I'm writing it in Swedish just to be cool (I'm a show off that way). So the Royal Palace is a must-go place, I think, as a tourist or even a local! It was my first time visiting a European style royal palace and I was wow-ed by it. It was super quiet, and cool, and cold. This situation will never happen in Indo. Yeah you know why.

Ok, let me now show you the pictures I've taken of the palace. I was like probably the most annoying tourist they ever had. I bought my phone in Japan, so I couldn't silent my camera sound, and I tend to take a bunch load of pictures, so it was like "click" "click" every half a meter. Oh yea, I love using my fish-eye lens cause it could take wider pictures. Especially this palace has huge rooms.

One of my favorite rooms in the palace; it's blue-dominated. It's a room especially for the royal family portraits. Fun fact: the former kings and queens were mostly black-haired and latino-looking, not blonde like you think all Swedish are. Yeah, that was pretty amazing for me.

Dark and gold-ish baroque style room. Loved this one too!

Lille is such a small town, that you could walk around it for almost a day. We arrived in the day around 11am, and explored the city center in hours. It was a Sunday when we arrived so pretty much all the shops were closed.

Most cafes in the square have outdoor seatings, which made it feel "communal" and you can watch people dance in the middle of the square as the town gets darker.
